Four Tips to Simplify Your Back-to-School Season

Another school year, another routine to adjust to. Stay on top of it with these handy tips!

1. Set up the coffee bar the night before

Maybe last year you accidentally added salt instead of sugar to your morning coffee… but this year will be different! Prep your coffee bar each night to make your morning easier! You can even add a scoop of sugar into an empty mug so it’s ready for fresh coffee come morning. Plus, check to see if your coffee pot has an auto-brew setting, place your Chinet Comfort® cup under it, and voila – your morning just got simpler.

2. Pick out outfits by the week

Deciding on your kids’ outfits each morning can get hectic and repetitive. With your kiddos, plan ahead weekly! Sit down each Sunday night with their class schedule and pick out the week’s outfits. For organization help, you can DIY some hangers labeled Monday-Friday. To get the kids on board, make it fun by creating an event out of it, like a future-fashion show or best-dressed competition. This way, you can plan around gym class or picture day, and your kids will be prepared for everything!

3. Simplify breakfast

Serving breakfast before school can be the biggest post-summer adjustment, but a healthy breakfast is so important when it comes to learning in the classroom. Thankfully, keeping your kids full until lunch doesn’t have to happen around the breakfast table.
