5 Tips to Make Back-to-School Breakfast a Breeze

School mornings can be hectic! Make sure breakfast isn’t with our tips.

1. Make a breakfast board

Give your kids a fun start to their day with a breakfast board! Load it up with pancakes, fruit, cheese cubes, and other toppings. They’ll love getting to choose their breakfast, and you’ll love how simple it is. Get inspired by checking out our movie night snack board post here.

2. Take it to go

For those extra-busy mornings, take breakfast on the go! Grab a napkin, spoon, and a Chinet Classic® recycled clear cup filled with cereal or oatmeal! This way your kiddo can eat in the car and be done with breakfast by the first bell. Our personal favorite is breakfast trail mix, but you can check out all our car-friendly products here.

3. Prep the night before

Set out everything you need to whip up breakfast the night before. You can make the table ahead of time and pull all ingredients from the pantry. All that’s left to do is assemble breakfast and plate it for your kids. And don’t forget the coffee. Chinet® Comfort cups are a must for stocking your home coffee bar.

4. Stick to a schedule

Kids thrive on routines, so having a weekly breakfast schedule helps everyone! Narrow down your kids’ top 5 breakfast choices and assign each to a day of the week. Not only does this make grocery shopping easier, but you and your kids will adjust to the new school year even quicker.

5. Prioritize protein

Nothing distracts kids from a lesson more than a grumbling tummy. Keep your kids full until lunch by making sure you incorporate protein into every breakfast! Whether it’s bacon, eggs, or Greek yogurt, it’s setting them up for success.
